Is This For You?

Schedules, responsibilities, time constraints, lack of nutrition education, and support can be barriers to preparing meals. The meals are created to be enjoyed when you have no energy or time to cook for yourself. Whether it's for your workdays, to avoid cooking or cleaning, to support regular meal schedules, or for times when you want to rest and not have another thing added to your schedule. His Daily Bite is here for you!

Menu Cycle

The menu will rotate biweekly, which means the base of the recipes will be the same for two weeks:

  • Marinades
  • Meal structure
  • Proteins

However, a few features may change to minimize flavor fatigue:

  • Dressings
  • Fruits
  • Vegetables

If you are someone who enjoys eating the same meal every day, this is perfect for you. I still highly encourage fitting other meals into the week to increase biodiversity in the gut microbiome. For more information about the gut microbiome, please click here

Meal Guidelines

When menu cycles are created, the following dietary pattern is focused on:

Whole grains, fruits, vegetables, lean protein, legumes, seafood, healthy fats, moderate sodium, and limiting added sugar and saturated fat.

Nutrient-dense is when an item provides vitamins, minerals, micronutrients, balanced macronutrients, and fiber in a higher quantity relative to their calories. All food provides energy, and our bodies require energy to function and sustain homeostasis. However, the majority of meals popular today are bioengineered to be hyperpalatable and addictive. They typically have elevated saturated fat, sodium, and added sugar, an unbalanced macronutrient profile, and no fruits or vegetables in recommended amounts.
